Problem Description

An error may occur while installing or upgrading to System Center 2012 Operations Manager Reporting and this error is reported in OMReporting. log:

ExecNetFx: Error: The specified assembly is not installed.
ExecNetFx: Error 0xFFFFFFFF: The command line returned an error.
ExecNetFx: Error executing the ngen command (with error 0xFFFFFFFF): Uninstall C: \ Windows \ Microsoft.NET \ Framework64 \ v4.0.30319 \ ngen.exe "Microsoft. EnterpriseManagement. Core, Version = 7.0.5000.0, Culture = neutral , PublicKeyToken = 31bf3856ad364e35 ", continued anyway

This can occur if the assembly is in place.

solution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

  1. Navigate to.
  2. Search .
  3. Right click on it and choose uninstallout.
  4. Restart the server and run the report installation again. This time it should be successful.
