WhatsApp Nokia Asha 200201

Lately all i hear when it comes to getting a new cheap phone in town is the New Asha 200 and Nokia asha 201 with all the response i get it makes me wonder what the hell is the liking attached to this phone that makes everyone go crazy about it.

i have seen and compared the two phones, Well these new Nokia phones are no doubt good looking and sleek comparing the various colored case Nokia produced with it which makes it a phone with lots of choices for it users.

The Nokia Asha 200/201

These Phones are the cheapest of Nokia’s Asha likes. They have some of the features that fits into the phones that are in vogue in todays world such as the QWERTY keyboardsocial media support , long battery life, FM radio with recording and also messaging but all on the old s40 operating system. Although both phones are similar in size and weight, and have almost everything in common, but with just little difference which is that the Nokia Asha 200 is a dual SIM phone and Nokia Asha 201 is a Single Sim Phone.

Nokia Dual Sim

From my view, i think this mobile phones are made mainly for mobile messaging with ability to have access to social media networks and with the way social media is affecting our daily lives, maybe that should give me my answer as per why it getting the hype . The Nokia Asha 201 comes with pre-installed Facebook otherWhatsapp application. i am yet to ascertain if the Nokia asha 200 can work with Whatsapp yet because there will be no difference or rather a better choice if it does.

The Nokia Asha 200 and Asha 201 come with 2.4-inch QVGA (320 × 240 pixels) display Like most QWERTY key phones, where the width is usually longer than the length. And both phones comes with 2.0 megapixels camera just like my Nokia E63.

The Difference:

The Nokia Asha 200 is a dual sim phone which enables you receive and make calls on 2 Sim cards at a go and even save configurations of up to 5 Sim cards while the Nokia Asha 201 is just a Single sim mobile phone

When it comes to browsing the internet, to me the Nokia Asha 200/201 is a no go area, because i am a heavy user of the internet and with the data support of the phone .. then am turned off.

Both phones are dual-band phones with GSM, GPRS and EDGE capability, it has no 3G or Wi-fi which has raised questions by some techies if this version of Asha will survive in today's tech world ?.

They both feature Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and USB 2.0.

Nokia Asha 200/201 feature the new Nokia browser which helps on saving cost of data usage. The built-in browser compresses web pages on Nokia’s high-speed servers before rendering them on your phone offering a cheaper web access up to 90% savings according to Nokia.
