This number called me telling me my computer was being hacked. They insisted and tried to show me by sending me messages via my computer, but I don’t have a computer that’s on the internet. I think it was a scam!

This number has called us multiple times today insisting that we had been hacked not through our computer Microsoft but through our server. He was very insistent and would not take no for an answer. Once we told him that my son was an IT specialist for ford he continued to try to tell us that he was from Microsoft support. My husband knows a little bit about computers so he played along for a couple of seconds but realize that he was trying to download something on our computer then he cut him off

  • Caller ID was "DITCO DTSW" which apparently is a Department of Defense number that is Washington, DC based. I wasn't home to answer the call and the caller left no message. Since I know no one in the DC area I must assume it is a scam call.

  • Got lots of calls from this number, all hours of day and night, sometimes three or four in close succession. Made the mistake to pick up one time, very broken English, they said Microsoft and I had major computer problems and they needed to access it to fix it (for a price) needed credit card number. Nope, aint 'happening. I called my phone provider and they blocked the number and taught me how to block other calls like this. Beware, SCAM !! .

  • Just got the same Microsoft tech call and it's a scam. Beware. I don’t have any device that runs on Microsoft and told him he had the wrong number. He didn’t want to take no for an answer so I just hung up.

  • A man who did not speak English well told me my computer had a virus. I asked him to tell me what kind of computer I had and he hung up.

  • Scammer said windows issue. I said "Yes- I'm in front of my computer. And you know that God loves you so much, you don't need to lie or steal anymore - pray that God will get you a real job - He loves you." She got upset, called me stupid and hung up. I'm praying that she'll open her heart and get a good job.

Received a call from this number today. No message just some one fake laughing ....

  • Answered the phone, heard "Hello, this is about your computer ..." I immediately replied that it was about time, since they had it for 4 days, and I would be there in 30 minutes, and promptly hung up.
