Where can I buy a ring protector

where can I buy a rain cover ???

Written by Jelli15504 on September 15, 2009, 9:30 p.m.

Hi, today my daughter had to walk to school in the rain for the first time. Some children had rain protection on their satchels. My not the satchel was still a bit clunky tonight but the books weren't wet. Is rain protection worthwhile or is it not necessary. We have a Mc Neill satchel should I just impregnate the fabric or is such a rain cover better. How do you do that? And where can you get this in the store? In our stationery store, not on the internet, I've already found a few shops, but the postage costs are almost higher than the thing costs. Write your opinions. Thank you and LG jen

Hello, take a look at eBay. We have one for every school bag. The boys' backpacks would have been soaked in the first week of school. It had poured. Some water leaked into the side pocket of my daughter today and it was also a bit damp in the satchel (Scout), so check out eBay. LG Snow (who never again takes those cheap bottles from the water company to school, no matter how long the daughter begs)

My daughter wears a rain poncho. The knapsack fits easily underneath.
I glued some funny motif reflectors on it and now both (daughter and knapsack) are well protected.

We have never had such a rain cover and never needed it :-). I can't even remember that the school bag in elementary school would have gotten wet (although it couldn't be otherwise, but it was probably not that tragic ;-)) and the school backpack for secondary school was something last year klamm, including staples. Then I bought impregnation spray, which I only sprayed on during the summer holidays (!) (Very useful :-)).
This rain cover may indeed protect the bags from moisture. But how often will a child pull him over his pocket, especially after school is over - maybe mom will do it in the morning?

best regards
Ebba

With us, the cover was already included in the satchel. I think the part makes sense and my daughter uses it too ... as long as she doesn't leave it at home, like today.
Before we also had a poncho, but apparently it's already totally stupid (my daughter's own statement).

Hm .... I've never had rain protection either. My son is in the 5th grade and has often walked in the rain and rode his bike, but the satchel or school backpack has never been so wet or clammy.
Well, when it rains like buckets, I drive them to school by car.
Walk is about 20 minutes.
I've seen other kidis and I've never seen rain protection like this before.
By the way, my little one also has a McNeill.
; o) Since the beginning of school (3rd week) it has only drizzled a little here.

We simply bought a bicycle rain cape for our son (Aldi) and so he and the satchel have always stayed dry.

Also gives out in the sports departments of Karstadt etc.

so I don't know where to find them. but it's worth it. my big one has a hama satchel. there was already a yellow rain cover with it. that holds tight. and when it rains she has a small mini umbrella in her satchel
