Who's that flippish girl super club one night

Miss Apple's Secret / The Hotel of Enchanted Dreams Vol. 1

Content:

10-year-old Joëlle and her 12-year-old brother Lancelot are really looking forward to the beach club with midnight swimming and 3-D cinema. But instead of going to the great beach club on the North Sea, they end up in a lonely place on the Baltic Sea. Your mother entered the wrong location in the GPS.

They only want to stay here one night and go to the North Sea the next day. Nothing will come of it, but suddenly the children don't think it's that bad anymore. There is a secret in the hotel, Joëlle is convinced of that. She saw the stuffed eagle from the hallway in front of the house at night. The phone rings without being connected. And how can Miss Apple, the hotel owner, be in the kitchen and outside in the yard at the same time?

My opinion:

What a super cute children's book.

First of all, I have to praise the illustrator very much. The drawings are absolutely adorable.
The story itself is light and humorous.

You can really feel the holiday feeling and put yourself in the shoes of the likeable characters. I'm already looking forward to the next adventure.

Taken in and of itself, the book is worth it. But I also find the book valuable from an educational point of view. It's about nightmares and the courage to face the past. And it's told in a very magical way that I could hardly escape. I think the idea behind it is wonderful.

I believe that it is also suitable for 6 year olds.

Conclusion:

An absolutely magical book that I would like to warmly recommend to all parents for their children.

Likewise for all adults who like to read children's books.
