Assassin's Creed Valhalla - How to Get Advanced Assassination

The Advanced Assassination skill in Assassin's Creed Valhalla lets you murder powerful enemies in one fell swoop, which is great for stealth-minded players. In the final game in the series, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, you can only stealth attack high-level enemies that they would not kill immediately. However, with Valhalla, you can defeat anyone with this special ability. There are additional steps for enemies too strong to assassinate normally, but you can still defeat anyone with ease as long as you get enough practice. If you plan to spend most of the game stealthily, you should definitely prioritize in order to acquire this skill.

How to unlock Advanced Assassination in Assassin's Creed Valhalla

You can assassinate powerful enemies with the Advanced Assassination skill, which allows you to kill a high-ranking enemy in one shot with a time-based attack. You can get it by unlocking the following skills in turn in the middle of the skill tree: Stealth>Way of the raven>Close combat>Stealth>Range>Close combat>health>Advanced assassination. Eight skill points are required to unlock this skill when following the indicated route.

Skill points can be obtained fairly easily in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, so you can get your hands on this skill very early in the game if you prioritize it over ranged and melee skills. You won't get the hidden blade until after a few missions anyway, so you have time to complete side quests and optional raids to save your skill points. As soon as Sigurd returns from his overseas adventures with his new assassin friends in tow, they'll give you a hidden blade and teach you the possibilities of assassination. This happens about an hour or two after the game starts, so you can start stealthily killing enemies very early.

If you'd rather not bother with this ability, you can enable Guaranteed Assassinations in the settings menu if you prefer a more traditional Assassin's Creed experience. It's not the intended experience, but Ubisoft heard fan complaints about the assassination system in Origins and Odyssey and wanted to give the option to hardcore fans of the franchise.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Google Stadia and Amazon Luna available.
