How each member of the House voted on impeachment

The votes to impeach President Donald Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress fell almost exactly along party lines. Two Democrats voted with Republicans. One of them, New Jersey Rep. Jeff Van Drew, is poised to leave the Democratic Party. The other, Rep. Collin Peterson of Minnesota, opposed impeachment but will remain in the party. A third Democrat, Rep. Jared Golden of Maine, voted to impeach Trump for abuse of power, but not for obstructing Congress.

No Republicans supported impeachment, but Michigan Rep. Justin Amash, who left the GOP this past summer over his outspoken opposition to Trump and is now an independent, did. Two members missed the votes for personal reasons. Rep. Duncan Hunter, who pleaded guilty to misusing campaign funds, has been told by leaders not to vote. And Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, a Democrat who’s running for President, was the one person who voted "present."
