Rice Recipes: How To Cook Rice?

Rice is one of the most important types of grain used worldwide. It is the main diet of around 50% of the world's people. You will learn rice growing, how to cook rice and various reception of fried rice.

Where is rice grown?

The rice is originally from China and India. Now it is mostly grown in China, India, Japan and Thailand. The acreage in China is one quarter of the world's rice cultivation.

How do you cook rice?

Shijin fried rice with eggs

Ingredients:

Rice 2 bowls or 250g

Eggs: 2

Shrimp: 100g

Ham: 50g

Peas: 50g

Carrot: half root

Shiitake mushrooms: 2 pieces

Chives: 2 pieces

Salt: 3g or according to your taste

Oil: 40ML / 2EL

preparation

  1. 1. Shrimps are diced, then the cooking wine and salt are added for about 15 minutes. Cut the carrots, ham in cubes, shiitake mushrooms in thin slices and spring onions in small pieces. Peas (beans) should soak before preparation.

Tips:

The rice has to be cold, not cooked too quickly or too soft, otherwise it will be very sticky. Carrots contain carotene. That is fat soluble. That is why we first advise carrots with oil. So the color can be a bit orange and more beautiful. The difficult-to-cook vegetables, such as peas, can be cooked first.

Fried rice with rooster

Ingredients:

a bowl of cooked rice

Rooster 50g

Onion 30g

A small piece of carrot

Red and yellow peppers, a small piece each

Spring onion: one piece

A spoon of curry powder

soy sauce

Salt: 3g or according to your taste

Oil: 40ML / 2EL

Preparation:

Cut the onion, carrot, bell pepper, green onion all into small cubes.

Vegetarian fried rice

Ingredients:

a bowl of cooked rice

A piece of green salad

Half corn

Half carrots

A piece of celery

An egg

Glutamate

A garlic

A piece of ginger

Spring onion

Soy sauce to your taste

Salt: 3g or according to your taste

Oil: 40ML / 2EL

Preparation:

  1. 1. Cut the carrots, green lettuce, celery, garlic, ginger and spring onions into small pieces. Corn peeled and washed.
