Recommended paper

The product supports a variety of paper types and sizes. This section describes how to use the correct media. For the best result, use 75 to 90 g / m2 plain paper designed for use in copiers and laser printers. Heavily embossed or very coarse textured paper is not recommended. Pre-printed letterhead can be used, but the ink must be able to withstand the high fusing temperatures used in printing.

  • Prints

Envelopes must not be warped, wavy or otherwise deformed. The envelopes should be rectangular. The adhesive must be able to withstand the high fusing temperature in the device. Window envelopes are not suitable.

  • Labels

Labels must be designed for use in copiers and laser printers. In this case the entire carrier sheet is covered by labels. Other types of labels can damage the machine if labels come off during printing.

Paper storage

To maintain quality, store paper as follows.

  • In a closet or other dry and dark place

  • On a flat surface

  • Temperature: 20 ℃

  • Humidity: 50% RH (relative humidity)

Do not store paper in the following locations:

  • Right on the floor

  • When the paper is exposed to direct sunlight

  • On the inside of an outside wall

  • On an uneven surface

  • Where static charges can occur

  • When the temperature rises extremely quickly it changes

  • In addition to a device, air conditioning, heating or pipe

Note

  • Leave the paper in the package until you are ready to use it.

  • Do not leave the paper unprotected for a long time. Failure to do so can lead to printing problems.
